Hospitality is a vital part of our spiritual practice at Central Unitarian Church.  We practice it weekly on Sunday mornings, when we welcome newcomers in many different ways, including:

  • A volunteer Welcome Team, which staffs the entrance, hallways and Welcome Center in the sanctuary.  They greet arriving visitors and members, help newcomers sign our guest book and answer their questions, and introduce regular visitors to like-minded members.
  • Flowers, donated each Sunday by a member or friend of the congregation, often in honor or memory of another.
  • Coffee Hour, where members and visitors mingle over refreshments at the end of the service, discuss its content and make plans for the coming week.

Hospitality at CUC is the product of many hands.  We encourage regular visitors and members to sign up to join a Welcome Team or provide Coffee Hour. It’s easy, fun and great way to get to know other people in the congregation.  Just click on the image below to complete our online form.
