Spring Fling has been the highlight of CUC’s Spring Social Season since 1990. It is also a major fundraiser with all the proceeds – in recent years more than $20,000 – going to CUC’s operating budget.

There is great food and music, fun decorations as well as silent and live auctions and raffles. Almost everyone in the congregation, including Religious Education students, contribute to the success of Spring Fling by attending, donating and bidding on dinners, special events, vacation opportunities, beautiful gift baskets. Recent themes have been Mardi Gras, the 60’s, and Cinco de Mayo.

The Spring Fling Committee of volunteers makes all this possible through its planning and hard work – and they have a lot of fun in the process.

Spring Fling is ‘a place to meet old friends and to make new ones’ and to fill your social calendar for the whole year with the events you donate and purchase. Social events auctioned at Spring Fling include exotic meals, parties, concerts and sporting events.

Get involved by sharing a talent or special place with others. Think about something you love, such as hiking, cooking, or touring.  Previous donations were escorted trips to the NY Botanical Gardens, museums, theaters, and restaurants.  You can also share a skill such as handyperson work, gardening, or teaching cooking.  You can host a dinner, movie party, or game night.  Gifts such as food baskets are welcome for silent auctions
