Central Unitarian hosts county MLK Birthday Celebration
Luther King Jr. (1929—1968) presented by the MLK Birthday Committee of Bergen County and hosted by Central Unitarian Church. The theme of the program is “We Must Stand Together.” The featured speaker is Rev. Charles Boyer of Bethel AME Church in Woodbury and leader of Salvation and Social Justice, a New Jersey-based coalition of clergy and civil rights organizations. The musical artists are the Teaneck Community Chorus and Lauren Hooker. Anthony Johnson of WABC-TV Channel 7 News is the moderator.
