Bountiful Harvest garden needs your muscle!

It’s time to turn the soil!
Bountiful Harvest garden needs your muscle!

The Bountiful Harvest garden, an initiative of the Social Action Committee, begins its second year of providing produce to hungry families served by the Center for Food Action. Come be a part of it!

“Shovel Days” are scheduled for Friday and Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon on March 25 and 26 and April 1 and 2, 8 and 9, 15 and 16, and 22. Planting begins on Saturday, April 23. See Bill Hoffman, Project Coordinator; Brooke Cannata, Co-Chair of the Social Action Committee; or any member of the Bountiful Harvest garden group for more information and to get involved.

Thanks to the generosity of Central Unitarian members and friends, a beautiful new garden shed has been purchased. Stop by for a visit, pick up a shovel, and let’s get the crop in!
