May 22: ‘Unitarianism and Universalism Go Global’

David Horst, Minister, and members of the congregation returned from visiting our partner church in Prague on May 16. In his sermon this Sunday morning, May 22, at the 10:30 worship service, David shares his reflections on Unitarianism in the Czech Republic and discusses the growing Unitarian and Universalism movement worldwide through the efforts of the International Council of Unitarians and Universalists. His sermon topic is “Unitarianism and Universalism Go Global.” David; Robin Slaw, Director of Lifespan Faith Development; and Rab Bell, Worship Associate, lead the service. During the Time for All Ages we conduct a “Bridging Ceremony” for graduating high school seniors.

Music provided by the Adult Choir conducted by Robert René Galván singing the South African hymn “Siyahamba” and Paul Simon’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”

Children and teachers join us for the beginning of the service, then depart for Sunday School and Moving Up Day. Coffee, refreshments, and adult learning programs follow the morning programs. Childcare for infants and toddlers is provided until 1:30.
