April 24: Celebration of Community

We  celebrate our life together in religious community in our annual Celebration of Community service on Sunday morning, April 24, at 10:30. Let’s recognize and give thanks for all that we have accomplished, identify ways we can continue to grow into our mission and vision, and re-dedicate ourselves to our covenant of right relationships. We begin the service by welcoming new members into the congregation. David Horst, Minister; Robin Slaw, Director of Lifespan Faith Development; Matt Anderson, Director of Music; and Jill Wecht, Worship Associate, lead the service. Rev. Horst’s sermon topic is “Why Church Matters.” Music provided by Robert René Galván, Conductor, and the Adult Choir. Children and teachers join us for the beginning of the service, then depart for Sunday School. Childcare for infants and toddlers is provided until 1:30. The Annual Meeting of the Congregation follows the service at noon in the Sanctuary. All voting members are urged to attend.
