Sunday, March 5, 10:30 a.m., Sanctuary
“To laugh is to risk appearing a fool. To weep is to risk appearing sentimental. To reach out to another is to risk involvement. To hope is to risk pain.” These oft-quoted words by William Arthur Ward are as true now as the day he wrote them. Today David Horst, Minister, explores the fear and possibility of “risk” in his sermon “To Risk,” our March music, worship, and learning theme. Dylan Debelis, Director of Religious Education, and Matt Anderson, Director of Music, lead the service with Rev. Horst. Our Guest Artists, the All Seasons Chamber Players, perform music by Bach, Pergolisi, and Handel. Children and teachers join us for the beginning of the service then depart for Sunday School. A Congregational Conversation follows the service at noon.
