June 12: Flower Communion and Church Picnic

We celebrate the Flower Communion on June 12. Bring a flower to share! Join us on on Sunday morning, June 12, at 10:30 for our annual all-ages Flower Communion service. Bring a flower to share as we create a beautiful bouquet in the tradition created by Norbert Čapek, founder of the modern Unitarian Church in the Czech Republic and our partner church in Prague.

We also recognize long-time departing church members; thank Robin Slaw, our departing Director of Lifespan Faith Development; recognize this year’s Welcome Host Captains; and dedicate the Board of Trustees and elected leaders into service for the coming year. The sermon is “For the Flowers That Bloom.” David Horst, Minister; Robin Slaw, Director of Lifespan Faith Development; and Abby Kessler, Worship Associate, lead the service. Monica Marchaterre is the Welcome Host Captain. Music provided by the House Band and Choir.

Everyone is invited to the Church Picnic following the service. Please bring food and beverages to share. Click here to find out what to bring.
