June 26: ‘You Are What You Eat’

Ariel Aaronson-Eves leads the Summer Service on Sunday morning, June 26, at 10:30. Ariel grew up at Central Unitarian and is preparing to enter Starr King School for the Ministry this fall. Her sermon topic is “You Are What You Eat.” How are our desires reflected in how we live, and eat? What role can our relationship to food play in creating a sustainable future? How can our congregations help us embody our values to create that future? Ariel invites us to participate in a “Vegetable Communion,” which she created. Myra Aaronson is the Worship Associate. Caelan Cardello is the piano accompanist.

This and future Summer Services are held in the Sanctuary. In the event of extremely hot weather, services move to the air-conditioned Assembly Room. Everyone is asked to bring beverages and snacks to share. Families are welcome. Childcare for infants and toddlers is provided. Summer Services continue through Labor Day weekend. Homecoming Sunday is September 11.
