June 4: ‘Sweet June Days’

‘Sweet June Days’
Sunday, June 4, 10:30 a.m., Sanctuary
“The sweet June days have come again,” goes the hymn by 19th-century Unitarian minister Samuel Longfellow. What a perfect call to the summer months ahead and the introduction of our music, worship, and learning theme for June, “joy.” Today we celebrate with our 12th grade youth in the annual Bridging Ceremony. We also recognize this year’s Sunday School Teachers and Youth Advisors and say goodbye to long-time members Lisa and Peter Horton.

David Horst, Minister; Dylan Debelis, Director of Religious Education; and Matt Anderson, Director of Music, are the Worship Leaders. David’s sermon title is “Sweet June Days.” Children and teachers join us for the beginning of the service then depart for the final day of Sunday School classes of this church year. Childcare for infants and toddlers provided from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Coffee and conversation follow the morning programs.

Please bring nonperishable food donations for the monthly collection for the Center for Food Action.
