‘God is Creativity’ is next Sunday’s topic. We introduce our next monthly theme “creation” on Sunday, April 3, at the all-ages First Sunday service. David Horst, Minister; Matt Anderson, Director of Music; Robin Slaw, Director of Lifespan Faith Development, and Peter Horton, Worship Associate, lead the service. David’s sermon topic is “God is Creativity,” an exploration into a conception of God as both creator and creative. Children in pre-K to grade 5 participate in the service. The grade 6/7 Building Bridges and 8/9 Coming of Age classes meet as scheduled. Childcare for infants and toddlers is provided until 1:30. The combined Paramus and Ridgewood Youth Group meets at the Unitarian Society of Ridgewoord at 3 o’clock.
The Middle Elementary students, teachers and parents host the monthly luncheon supporting the Center for Food Action’s Weekend Snack Pack program. The requested donation for lunch is $10.
The Board of Trustees invites you to the third and final 2016 Congregational Conversation on Sunday, April 3, at noon immediately following the Center for Food Action luncheon in the Sanctuary. We continue to examine how we’re “Stewarding Our Mission,” focusing on the third part of our congregational mission “serving the greater community.” How do we make our dream for Central Unitarian Church’s future a reality? Come be a part of the conversation and make your voice heard!
Remember to bring nonperishable food donations for the monthly collection for the Center for Food Action.
