Crossing Borders (September 15, 2019)

Every day, people risk their lives and the lives of their children to cross the border of our country. The recent shooting in El Paso is yet another example of the historical fear and hatred entangled with our nation’s long
standing debate on immigration. This service will examine what the ongoing humanitarian crisis at our borders teaches us about our fellow human beings — those who risk their lives, those who work tirelessly to aid them, and those who vehemently oppose them — and considers what our Unitarian Universalist faith calls us to do.
