Our Candidate for Minister, Rev. Andrée Mol, leads us in worship this Sunday as we begin our Candidating Week together! Rev. Andrée’s sermon topic is “Love into Being.” Ubuntu is an African term that means interconnection. It reminds us that as individuals we have an origin in the other. We do not emerge out of nothing. We exist because of each other. We gather to remember those whose lives are inextricably bound up in ours — those whose love has brought us into being — and to celebrate the future we create for each other. Susan Gempler is the Worship Associate and Matt Anderson, Director of Music, is the accompanist. Children and teachers join us for the beginning of the service followed by Sunday School classes from 10:45 to 11:45.
An all-congregation lunch and open forum with Rev. Andrée begins at noon. All are welcome!
