“Go to the limits of your longing,” wrote the poet and mystic Rainer Maria Rilke Join us this Sunday morning, September 30, at 10:30 for a “soul gathering” led by Lynn Sodora, Director of Religious Education; and Allison Cryer, Student Minister; and David Horst, Minister. Lynn’s tells the story “On a Magical Do-Nothing Day” by Beatrice Alemagna. David’s sermon topic is “The Soul’s Yearning.” The Church Choir, conducted by Robert René Galván and accompanied by Matt Anderson, Director of Music, performs two selections: “Omnia Sol” by Z. Randall Stroope and “Something Inside So Strong” by Labi Siffre. Children and teachers join us for the beginning of the service then depart for Sunday School classes. We urge all voting members to attend the Congregational Conversation at noon following the morning programs to discuss “The State of the Congregation” with Dina Cutrone, Board President, in preparation for the November 4 Meeting of the Congregation.
