Women’s Alliance sponsors and presents our Sunday Service

We welcome Noreen Geelan Springstead, Executive Director of WhyHunger, as our Guest Speaker this Sunday. Her topic is “Choosing to Make a Difference.” The Jen Chapin Trio are our Guest Artists. Susan Springstead, Church Member, is the Worship Leader assisted by Lynn Sodora, Director of Religious Education, and Allison Cryer, Student Minister. Matt Anderson, Director of Music, accompanies our singing. Children join us for the beginning of the service then depart for Sunday School.

WhyHunger is a global anti-hunger organization committed to finding grassroots solutions to hunger in ways that will permanently transform lives. Noreen is a graduate of River Dell High School and Rutgers University. Jen has been celebrated for her “brilliant, soulfully poetic, urban folk music,” as reviewed on National Public Radio, for more than a decade.

This special worship program is sponsored and presented by the Central Unitarian Church Women’s Alliance. Coffee and conversation follow the Worship Service.
